Madonna Figura's English 10 class at Wellsville High School interviewed four members of the US Army serving in Camp Taqaddum (known as TQ) in Iraq.  It's near Fallujah. They provide convoy security for supplies being brought to the US military in Iraq.  The servicemen discussed their duties and living conditions in the interview.  The call was arranged by CA BOCES through the Freedom Calls Foundation, a non-profit group that connects members of the military with families, schools, etc.

The call was in conjunction with a curriculum unit the students were doing on The Gift of Valor,  the book about Marine Cpl. Jason Dunham of Scio, who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for throwing himself on a grenade in Iraq, saving the lives of fellow Marines.
